Slot Missions in Hogwarts
Slot missions are an excellent opportunity to earn equipment weapons, equipment and much more. They're difficult to complete.

Concealed Weapon Slot
The concealed weapon slot is a special slot that lets you bring guns into an operation. Some people use it to help them attain certain goals, particularly those who aim for Suit Only. Others simply prefer to have the additional pistol to make an extra weapon to close the gap. It is important to remember that to select the pistols that belong in this slot, click on the button for the appropriate category like alternate slot 2 machine guns. The presence of Major Expedition and Adept Rider active makes this much easier to do. This combo can also trigger damage from Concealed Weapon every 10 seconds for as long as it is placed in.
Smuggled Item Slot
The smuggled item slot is a good feature for allowing players to bring tools and weapons, but it could be improved with a better opportunity. It's currently designed to resemble an a gun, which makes it difficult to differentiate the weapon slot smuggled by smugglers from other gear slots.
The smuggle slot can house many different items, from subtle concussion devices to explosives that are weapon-grade. These items are covertly stashed in a hidden location on the map and can be retrieved at any time. These items are distinct from Agency Pickups and Hidden Stashes that conceal small objects in the scenery, and objects directly.
Mission planning is an option available in episodic missions. It lets players unlock different starting locations, smuggled objects and gear slots before they enter the map. As players progress through challenges and unlock new Mission Mastery levels, these planning options increase. This allows players the ability to design the perfect mission for every task.
Gear Slot
The game's beginning players will notice their gear slots quickly fill up, leading to the frequently-repeated "Your Gear Slots are full" message, which blocks Max from selecting new equipment until old items are cleared or more space is obtained. The solution is the Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials which offer more inventory space in exchange for completing challenge missions. However, as the majority of these challenges are scattered around the world and could be overlooked, it may take some time to get the most inventory slots in the game.
Each player has up to five different kinds of gear in their five Gear Slots. They must be selected from the Gear Selection menu prior to the break-in. Rainbet Casino & Sportsbook (except the Pistol) takes up one Gear Slot while a set of similar items (like Grenades of the same kind) only takes up one Gear Slot.
Agency Pickups
As you progress in Mission Mastery levels, you unlock various agency pickups across the map. These locations allow you to store items that don't fit in your weapon or gear slot. You can retrieve them later.
These pickups are particularly useful when you have to pass through a frisk later in the course of your mission or if you're carrying a weapon that might otherwise cause suspicion. But, you are only able to keep one item at a time at a location that is a pickup for the agency.
This DLC also adds new asset protection and security contracts to the agency. To start these missions, simply contact the receptionist of the agency and stock up on armor and snacks. Once you've reached the mission marker, identify a mob at the time you arrive.
